Author Bio

Emily Vayner is a sophomore at the Ramaz Upper School. She takes pride in her Russian Jewish heritage and make an effort to be an activist in her community through her love for creative and informative writing. She has been playing piano for eight years and is extremely passionate about music. She has performed in Carnegie Hall and won several international competitions. She looks forward to pursuing a career in law and politics and participate in her school’s debate and Moot Court teams. She is a competitive tennis player in and outside of school. Most of all she loves her family and friends, giving back to her community, and taking care of nature.
