Author Bio

Gema García is a first-generation Ecuadorian American student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is a Spanish major with a concentration in translation and interpretation and a co-founder of the non-profit group traducciones contra el racismo. García is a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, Sigma Delta Pi. She also has an associate’s degree in Philosophy from LaGuardia Community College. García is an aspiring audiovisual and literary translator. Her hobbies include writing, gaming, and reading. She currently lives in Queens, New York.
